Serve Him in holiness, purity, obedience- Do you think you’re a happy person? Would people around you agree?- If you are born again you ought to be the happiest, most positive person in the world- The gift of Jesus fills us with joy; the future is bright and the past forgiven- Many Christians have little joy because they’ve allowed sin to reign in their lives- God will not hear us if we harbor sin- You must know the scripture yourself; we read more devotionals and books about the scripture than scripture itself- We are choked by stuff; the more we get, the more we must care for- We don’t understand the dangers of riches; we are not happier or more productive- Has someone come into your life that has caused fear and panic (Jonah)- The raging sea will not calm until Jonah is out of your boat; your compassion enables Jonah; He is God’s responsibility, not yours- God cannot work on Jonah until he’s out of your boat; then your joy will return
