Club Fusion: Back 2 School Volume 2 (2012)

Club Fusion, 2012 — Back 2 School Volume 2 is a dancefloor-minded mix of electro, progressive, and house crafted as a straight-up party set. This installment leans on strong male vocals and big-room production, sequencing Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child” and Alesso’s “Years” alongside crossover pop edits to keep the energy moving. Highlights include an electro-tinged remix of Imagine Dragons’ “It’s Time,” Jason Nevins’ unexpected take on Alex Clare’s “Too Close,” and a playful Hype Jones rework of Cherry Cherry Boom Boom’s “Come Back From San Francisco.” You’ll also find club-ready turns from David Guetta feat. Sia and Deniz Koyu with Wynter Gordon. The mix runs about 75 minutes and was assembled quickly to capture a moment — rough around the edges in places, but full of catchy hooks and DJ-friendly edits.
