Club Fusion: Drop It Like It's Hot Volume 1 (2011)

This Club Fusion mix from 2011 collects EDM, electro house and progressive takes aimed at listeners who want familiar hooks rebuilt for the dancefloor. Drop It Like It's Hot Volume 1 focuses on remixes that bridge pop and club sensibilities while keeping melodic moments intact. Highlights include Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night (Almighty Mixshow) and Rudedog’s Feel The Power Of Bass reworked by Cahill, both smart pop-to-club conversions. Wynter Gordon’s Til Death (WaWa Extended Mix) and Moby’s The Day (Basto Extended Remix) add electro-pop and synth-forward atmosphere to the set. Cee Lo Green’s Bright Lights Bigger City gets a sleek club overhaul from The Shapeshifters, and Therese’s Drop It Like It’s Hot (Alesso Mix) closes the mix with progressive rhythmic focus. The selection leans toward inventive remixes that refresh well-known material without erasing the originals’ character.
