Funky House: Top Dance Songs of 2007 Volume 1

Funky-house highlights from the Top Dance Songs of 2007 series, compiled for Club Fusion listeners who want a focused snapshot of that year’s remixes and vocal-driven dancefloor moments. This Deep & Funky collection (2007, expanded and remastered) gathers 22 tracks that reshape pop, soul, and club singles for DJs and late-night sets. The mix leans into big-room remix culture with standout turns like Todd Terry Allstars feat. Tara McDonald’s “Get Down” (Warren Clarke Club Mix) and Soulshaker’s revamp of Alexander O’Neal’s “Saturday Love.” Roisin Murphy’s “Overpowered” (Seamus Haji Remix) and Quentin Harris’ vocal work add modern electronic texture, while Bliss Inc. feat. Carlotta Chadwick brings uplifting house energy. A bold Freemasons Club Mix of “Sexual Healing” (Alibi vs. Rockefeller) underscores how 2007 bridged classics and contemporary club production. Play this for a concise, dancefloor-focused tour of funky and vocal-house remixes that defined the year’s club sound.
