We start with CNN’s exclusive interview with US Attorney General Merrick Garland about the Justice Department’s report on the Uvalde, Texas school massacre in 2022. Congress has passed a stopgap bill to avoid a partial government shutdown. Israel says its forces exhumed and removed bodies at a cemetery in southern Gaza in their search for the remains of hostages once held by Hamas. Mortgage rates fell to their lowest level since May. Lastly, President Joe Biden touted his economic agenda in comparison to former President Donald Trump's during a stop in North Carolina.
