Might worst inflation be behind us?

Today's new inflation numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show the Consumer Price Index rose 8.3% in April compared with last year. While that's a big number, it's down from a 40-year high. Looking at it month-to-month, inflation was 0.3% in April, down from the 1.2% gain in March. But a closely watched data point was up, not down.
