Pledges, promises and pleas

In Tel Aviv this morning, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken pledged to stand shoulder to shoulder with Israel. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to banish Hamas to the ash heap of history.
