NXN (NIKE Cross Nationals) is my favorite race. Period. It's my favorite.

NXN is the US high school XC nationals championships. The 22 best girls teams and 50 best individuals meet in Portland, Oregon to all take the same starting line and race for the glory. The 22 best boys teams and 50 best individuals meet in Portland, Oregon to all take the same starting line and race for the glory.

Two starting lines. Two races. But so much more than that is going on. And this episode my attempt to share a little history about the meet but more importantly what is going on during the race so YOU can watch the race and fully enjoy the pure epicness (is that a real word?) that is NXN.

If you run... then you need to listen to this episode. Because you should be a fan of this race and these young athletes. They will inspire you and motivate you. And NXN is a badass celebration of our sport.
