Aug 31- Doctrine & Covenants 95:1

Because our Father in Heaven loves us so fiercely He has a deep desire for us to return to His presence and receive all that He has. But in order for us to get there He commands us to repent. In our efforts to become more like Him, we can grow as we ask Him for counsel and correction. It's not necessarily fun, but as we heed His counsel we become more like Him.
