Oct 2- 3rd Nephi 19:3-9

After the Savior left, the people prayed for the thing they wanted more than anything else, the gift of the Holy Ghost. They had experienced what it felt like to be in the presence of a member of the Godhead, and when the Savior was no longer there, I think they could feel that void. So they wanted the Holy Ghost, and they wanted it more than anything else. You and I have the gift to be able to have the Spirit with us at all times. But whether or not He will be is entirely up to us. We can have the Holy Ghost in our live to as great a degree as we want, as long as there is nothing that we want more.
