We would not be living up to our mission at Common Threads if we did not occasionally explore the dark side of religion. This is one of those times. Tina Alexis Allen, in 2018, brought to us a very compelling memoir that focuses on how religiously dysfunctional homes can create so much pain, and set vulnerable individuals on paths of self-destruction.
