Shame, Confession, and Greater Mercy | Michael Rowntree

daniel didn't have to confess anything, yet he confessed everything. no spin, no minimizing, no blame-shifting. in this message, michael rowntree walks us through daniel 9:1-19 and what biblical confession actually looks like: stoked by God's word, owning sin deeply and completely, and majoring on hope instead of shame.

"to us belongs open shame, but to the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness." daniel 9:8-9

we don't have to minimize our sin, because Jesus died for it. we don't have to wallow in shame, because Jesus bore it. wallow in mercy, not shame. wallow in forgiveness, not sin.
