Warnings to the Church in a Crazy World

Our world is influenced by what Paul calls “the traditions of men” and “the basic principles of this world” that are often contrary to Scripture. The worldly influence threatens a person’s walk with Christ, and more broadly, the Church itself. What were the things of Paul’s day that he was warning the church at Colosse about, and how does this translate to what threatens the Church today?
