Josh Nee is the drummer of Baton Rouge/New Orleans sludge band Thou who has been serving up their brand of southern doom for the last decade. I was able to catch up with him amidst a brief run of NY shows in which we talked about the dedicated fan base for heavy New Orleans bands, how he got the gig, learning to play super slow tempo’s, Thou's artwork/packaging, some of the musicians we’ve both played with in the close knit South East Louisiana music scene and of course… Cat Sevens and Bob Dylan. **Plus how his father would at times take long distance bike rides from town to town while Josh was on tour!!!
