As they continue looking at "family stories" from the last twenty centuries of Christian history, pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve explore the life stories, writings, and spiritual experiences of three women of the medieval era who had mystical visions or other experiences of God. As we tell the stories of Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Avila, and Catherine of Siena, we'll be invited to consider the role of those voices who sincerely believed they had one on one conversations with Jesus, or transcendent revelations of God, or unexplainable experiences of the Spirit. And even if we are not quite sure what to make of those experiences with mysticism, we will find that their faith and insight are compelling witnesses for us, leaving us with wisdom like: "All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be made well," (Julian of Norwich); or "Christ has no body on earth now but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours..." (Teresa of Avila); or "All the way to heaven is heaven, because Jesus said I am the way." Let's join on the mystical path in this episode of "Crazy Faith Talk.
