In Tampa, prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the man charged with stabbing two USF doctoral students and dumping their bodies in Tampa Bay; according to prosecutors, he had searched ChatGPT for how to dispose of a body days before they disappeared, and one of the victims was his roommate. And in Jamaica, a 35-year-old accountant from Queens flew to the island to celebrate her birthday with a man she had recently married, sent a desperate WhatsApp message to her family telling them to call the police, and was found dead of blunt force trauma; he allegedly left her body at the hospital and has not been seen since.
