First Watch: “Dead Girls Don’t Talk”: Fake Hollywood Producer Will Serve 146 Years

Two very different plots, one chilling theme: killers betting their victims won’t live long enough to tell the truth. In today’s first case, unfortunately they didn’t, but that didn’t stop authorities from pursuing justice. In Los Angeles, David Pearce (called the “devil personified”) was found guilty of drugging, assaulting, and murdering friends Christy Giles and Hilda Cabrales-Arzola after a night of partying, then having masked accomplices dump them at separate hospitals. 

Then, Katie dives into a case in Wales, where Christopher Mills thought a quiet camper getaway might help his overworked wife reset…until two masked men with guns stormed the van. An investigation would expose a murder for insurance conspiracy tied to his wife Michelle, her client turned lover, and a six figure life insurance policy in Christopher’s name.
