The fallout from the Karen Read trial in Massachusetts takes a new twist, after a grand juror was sentenced for leaking sensitive information in one of the most closely watched murder cases in recent memory. In the second case, we head to Colorado, where Solomon “Carmen” Galligan was accused of attempting to kidnap a child from an elementary school playground. After multiple psychiatric evaluations, Galligan was deemed permanently incompetent to stand trial, sparking outrage from parents and renewed calls to reform Colorado’s competency laws.
