In Washington, a federal judge has set a September 2027 trial date in the civil lawsuit brought by the families of the four University of Idaho murder victims against Washington State University, alleging the university received more than a dozen complaints about Bryan Kohberger's threatening behavior toward women and failed to act before the killings. And in Northern Ireland, YouTuber Stephen McCullagh has been sentenced to a minimum of 31 years for murdering his pregnant girlfriend while a pre-recorded gaming stream played as his alibi; she was watching that same stream, believing he was home, as he drove to her house and killed her.
