Murder accused Richard Satchwell admitted killing his wife, burying her under the stairs of their home with a bunch of tulips, and talking to her remains in the aftermath.
During a Garda interview in October 2023, as officers and forensic experts discovered her body during a search of the couple's Cork home, he said he believed he buried her on Mother’s Day - almost a week after killing her during a row.
