An ex-soldier is facing decades behinds bars for the murder of Kirsty Ward after a Spanish jury rejected his cruel lies that she took her own life.

Keith Byrne was led away to a Spanish jail in handcuffs after being found guilty of strangling the Dublin mum to death on a holiday in Salou.

Niall speaks to Sunday World news editor Eimear Rabbitt about how Byrne’s lies were exposed in court.
