Episode 1110: Ex-soldier gets 15 years in Spanish prison for murdering girlfriend Kirsty Ward

Former soldier Keith Byrne has been jailed in Spain for 15 years for the murder of his girlfriend Kirsty Ward at a resort in Salou two years ago.

Byrne tried to claim Kirsty had taken her own life and even accused her of irrational behaviour, but a court ruled that he was the violent bully who had strangled her in a fit of jealousy after she tried to split from him.
