Episode 1202: Sexual abuse survivor Irene Cullen's fight for justice as stepdad set for release (Part 1)

Noel Foran will be a free man next week after serving 27 months for sexually assaulting his stepdaughter on ten occasions when she was a child. 

Irene Cullen reported her stepdad to gardaí decades later, but legal proceedings revealed the true extent of Foran’s crimes as she learned that many of the assaults had taken place while she slept in her bed. 

Today, Nicola speaks with Irene, who waived her anonymity to bring her abuser to justice. 

In part one of the interview, she recalls how Foran stole her innocent childhood from her.
