This week, Nate and Jesse are joined by Joe Musten (Advent, Beloved). The dads talk about the state of the scene in North Carolina and how Advent is among a whole list of hardcore bands that continue to shape the scene.

Joe also shares stories about touring, the impact that Beloved has had on people, Furnace Fest, and almost getting into fights at shows with other bands on the lineup.

The dads also talk about how being a dad and a son or daughter requires a ton of grace. Parents don't have it all figured out, and you really start to understand that when you become a parent yourself. The best we can hope for is to be the best we can possibly be for our kids.
