Today in History: The people of Israel arrived in the wilderness of Sinai (see Exodus 19:1). Korah and his followers were swallowed up by the earth on this day (according to tradition, see Numbers 16:18–50). The Prophet Ezekiel received a prophecy against the kingdom of Egypt. God gave him seven prophecies against Egypt and almost all of them mention the date (see Ezekiel 31:1–2).
