Divine Cheesecake Delight

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

  • 32 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix everything together until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Make sure the crust is compact and even. Place the pan in the fridge to chill while you prepare the filling.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add 1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar and 3 tbsp of flour, and beat until everything is well combined.
  5. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared crust. Tap the pan gently on the countertop to release any air bubbles.
  7. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off the oven and crack the door open. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  10. When ready to serve, remove the sides of the springform pan and slice the cheesecake into wedges.
