Recycled People Are Pretty Too - DTNS 3589

Google pledges that 100 percent of all shipments going to or from customers will be carbon neutral by 2020 and 100% of "Made by Google" products will include recycled materials and will maximize recycled content whenever possible starting 2022. Is this a PR gimmick or the start of larger trend in tech companies approach to environmental sustainability?
