A mayor in Australia is asking for OpenAI to correct false information being given about him by ChatGPT. Multiple US states are passing their own data privacy laws. Will these patchwork of laws actually do anything to help people or just add to a confusion of legal rights and liabilities? And why does it seem that logging off websites is more and more of an impossibility these days?
