"Trump's war with Iran has all the makings of a quagmire"

August 31, 2026; 4pm: Alicia Menendez is in for Nicolle Wallace. As Trump resumes strikes on Iran for the first time since July and Trump's repeated claims that Iran was "desperate" to make a deal, it is becoming undeniable that the war with Iran has all the makings of a quagmire. 

Later, the breaking news that the Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, is allowing construction on Trump's ballroom.
