On January 24, 2023, Lindsay Clancy — a labor and delivery nurse and mother of three — strangled her children in the basement of their Duxbury, Massachusetts home,then tried to take her own life. Three and a half years later, her murder trial ended not in a conviction, not in an acquittal, but in a mistrial: eleven jurors on one side, a single holdout on the other, and a country still arguing over whether she's a victim or a killer.
