Monkey Man (2024)

Will and Jared stare at Dev Patel's dreamy figure in his exciting new directorial debut: Monkey Man!

Is this homage to action films successful in carving its own mark? Or does the monkey king ultimately feel lesser than its inspirations? Who saved this movie from a quiet death on Netflix? Was this movie meant to be part of a Debaser Pride Month theme? Listen to find out!

Afterwards, the hosts discuss upcoming films for the year, which is surprisingly pretty stacked.
