Recently we sat down with Atlanta artist/songwriter Landstrip Chip for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about growing up on Flat Shoals, being in a group called Rebel Gang with Rico Cash & Yak Gotti that was singed while he was still in high school, linking with Sonny Digital when they were both in high school, being inspired to keep doing music by working at Sonny’s house, his first single with Sonny “iHop”, dropping “1 of 1” & “Cruise Control”, reveals how he got into writing for other artists, writing for Usher, finding a balance between writing for others & doing his own music, working with Dreamville on ‘Revenge of the Dreamers 3’, obstacles he has had to overcome, sacrifices he had to make for his career, his new partnership w/ Asylum, new single “Round 2”, upcoming album ‘Catch My Good Side’, upcoming EP w/ Jetsonmade, and much more!
