Ash Nathan (Emmy Monash) - finding community and connection

With 40 years experience as a chef, Ash Nathan is now the food services manager for Emmy Monash, a Jewish aged care residence in Melbourne. Originally from Sri Lanka, Ash is more than a chef for his elderly customers. He listens and learns, shares and strives, tests and tweaks, finding community and connection along the way. Ash is a contributor to a new Emmy Monash cookbook, 85 Years at the Table: L’dor V’dor.
