Jess and Sarah first discovered Amber on social media after seeing the incredible Outlander-themed party her husband, Will, threw for her milestone birthday. As they got to know Amber, they realized her story was about so much more than simply discovering a television series she loved—Outlander had profoundly impacted her life.

As a homeschool mom and devoted supporter of her husband’s career, Amber found great joy in being a wife and mother. However, like many women, she eventually realized that she had poured so much of herself into the lives of others that she had neglected parts of her own identity along the way. Discovering Outlander helped awaken something in her and inspired her to begin reconnecting with herself.

In this episode, Amber and Will share how Outlander has inspired and affected both of their lives over the past several years. Will, who practices functional medicine, also offers some fascinating health-related perspectives that gave us plenty to think about!
