No more guessing. We’re going to be proactive gather information to help our bodies and ourselves. We are worth it. I’m worth it. You’re worth it.
Physical Therapist Angie Peters is BACK! And we’re talking all things leakage after babies. Because…no more guessing. We’re going to learn more so we can strengthen our bodies and regain our sense of dignity around things that effect many moms like a leaking pelvis.
Angie’s Bio:
Angie is a physical therapist on the island of Maui who specializes in pelvic floor rehab. I used her services during & after two of my three pregnancies. She offered me loving support, guidance, & care during those sensitive times to help me figure out what was going on with my body and what I could do about it. Seeing her as a recovering mom opened my eyes to a whole world of resources that is available to postpartum moms!
Angie graduated with a masters degree from the University of Utah School of Physical Therapy in 2002. She has over 17 years of experience and continuing education in the outpatient orthopedic setting and has extensive post graduate work in the field of Women’s Health & Pelvic Rehabilitation through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Angie shows great enthusiasm in education and improvement of pain-free function through a variety of clinic skills. She shares her free time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys golfing, pickleball, and the great outdoors.
Angie serves our Maui community with a gentle and generous heart & I’m thrilled she is here to serve my listener community here at Elevating Motherhood as we dive deeper into the topic of leaky pelvis.
