Duracell Enters Electric Vehicle Charging Market

The source announces that the battery manufacturer Duracell is launching its first global network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, beginning in the United Kingdom. This project leverages a popular joke about EVs being like large Duracell batteries and will feature the brand's iconic black and copper styling. Duracell aims to have six active stations by the end of the year and plans to expand significantly by 2030, offering over 500 ultra-rapid 400 kW charging points capable of reaching an 80% charge in under thirty minutes. The initiative is being developed by The EV Network and managed by Elektra Charge under license from Duracell.
