Lancia is preparing for a major brand revival by reintroducing the Gamma nameplate in 2026 as its new flagship vehicle. Manufactured at the Melfi plant in Italy, this 185-inch fastback will utilize the versatile STLA Medium platform to support both fully electric and hybrid powertrains. The electric version aims for a premium driving experience with a 435-mile range and potential all-wheel-drive configurations. Inside, the car will feature a luxurious "living room" aesthetic utilizing sustainable materials and the advanced S.A.L.A. interface for integrated environmental control. This launch is a cornerstone of a ten-year strategic plan that includes the recent Ypsilon and a future electric Delta arriving in 2028. By offering diverse engine options, Stellantis intends to meet shifting market demands while reestablishing Lancia’s presence in the premium European automotive sector.
