Nissan: ambitious plan for solid-state batteries by 2028

Nissan plans to launch solid-state batteries (SSB) for its electric vehicles by 2028. The company has stated that it is in an advanced stage of engineering, with a pilot plant already operational for production. Nissan's SSBs will use a lithium-metal anode and a sulfur-based electrolyte, aiming for higher energy density and much faster charging times.
