Trail Riding With Your Dog

On today's episode Ute talks with Sherry Bedard, horse and dog trainer from Canada about how you can successfully take your dog on trail rides. Many horse riders also have dogs and not all of them are well behaved around horses. Often horses and dogs do not go well together and either the dog ends up being afraid of horses or the horse might get upset every time it sees a dog. This does not have to be if you introduce both of them properly and if you take the time to school your horse and dog. Sherry gives us some tips on how to do this best and we also talk about which dog breeds are best suited for day and multiple day rides and how we can choose a puppy accordingly.
