157 - Common error: I LIKE vs. I'D LIKE

I want to teach you about a mistake that I often hear students making when speaking. It has to do with the difference between "I like …" and "I'd like …" It's a very small difference, but it actually changes the meaning of the sentence and the way we use these phrases.
