Teaching my daughter to read was one of the hardest seasons of motherhood — tears, frustration, feeling like a failure on both sides. Prayer: Gracious Father, thank you for loving me enough to send your son Jesus to die for me. Help me to embody the love of Christ every day in every way. Teach me to see people through your eyes of love and to release your love to everyone I encounter. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
