A Prayer to Live in Humility with Nicolet Bell 

In a situation where John could have easily been jealous and upset, he resisted. He chose to put Jesus above himself. He knew his role and he found joy in it. Our joy is made complete when we take a surrendered posture before Jesus and desire to increase His name and fame and decrease our own.

Prayer: Father, humble the hearts of our families before you today. In a society that praises first place in raving reviews, large platforms, and winning records, Help us and our children to seek your glory above our own. Help us to model for our children what it looks like to live in humility and give them a heart that desires to serve you by serving others. In Jesus' name, amen.
