How many times was painting declared dead in the 20th century?! Too many to count. So, how does non-art expert but dedicated art lover–Emily Harding engage with the strange mix of conceptual and pictorial art of German contemporary artist Gerhard Richter?
How does art writer and curator Joana P. R. Neves engage with his beginnings in Dresden and Düsseldorf, in post war GDR and Western Germany?
