2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

It happened. The episode is here. It's Kubrick's foundational science fiction epic, and we tried our darnedest to contend with it in (nearly 3 hour) podcast form. Even though sorting through the abyss of this movie is kind of like staring at the sun. Or, scraping an alien(?) monolith capable of bestowing knowledge to an entire civilization. To quote Hal, "[We're] afraid, Dave."
