Interview: Can Kamala Harris unite the Democrats and beat Trump?

Kamala Harris is all but guaranteed to be the Democrats' candidate to take on Donald Trump, after receiving Joe Biden's endorsment and the support of her potential rivals within the party. Add in the $US81 million her campaign raised in just one day, and the Democrats are suddenly reinvigorated after weeks of uncertainty. But will it be enough?

Bruce Wolpe worked with the Democrats in Congress during President Barack Obama's first term. He is now a Senior Fellow (non-resident) at the United States Studies Centre, and the author of Trump’s Australia. Bruce talks to Sean Aylmer from Colorado.
