Raised in the Catholic Church, she always felt distant from God, leading her to seek fulfillment in the wrong places. After being introduced to pornography at a young age, Amanda became obsessed with seeking attention from men, which spiraled into toxic relationships, addiction to alcohol, bulimia, and deep emotional pain. She endured unfathomable pain including being a rape survivor, having an abortion, and facing suicidal thoughts while desperately trying to fill the void in her heart.

Turning to New Age practices like meditation, chakra healing, yoga, reiki, and ayahuasca, Amanda was even on the path to becoming a shaman. But none of these brought her the peace and healing she desperately sought.

Her life changed when she finally surrendered to Jesus Christ, finding the true fulfillment and unconditional love she had been searching for all along.
