Spirit Supplied Service

Pastor Kris Wint
In this message, Pastor Kris explores Acts 6 and 7 and what happens when ordinary people surrender themselves to the work of the Holy Spirit. When the early church faced conflict and the needs of overlooked widows, the apostles responded by appointing Spirit-filled servants. Stephen shows us that Spirit-supplied service is not limited to the elite or extraordinary. Whether serving tables or proclaiming the truth, every part of our lives can be shaped by God's purposes and empowered by His Spirit.
Through Stephen's witness, we are challenged to consider where we are surrendering to and participating with the Holy Spirit, and where we may be resisting Him. The Holy Spirit wants to work through us in the places where we live, work, study, play, and worship.
The question is simple: Are we resisting Him or joining Him?
