34. Iceland's indó, the first neobank to challenge the banking model

After the Icelandic banking crash in 2008 that turned the banking market upside down and impacted the Icelandic economy for a long time the idea behind indó was born. indó tries to redesign the traditional banking model and lets its users deposit money directly at the central bank.
