Ep. 084 | Christopher Herr | Marine Fire Support Man, Contractor and Musician

SSgt Christopher Herr was an east coast Marine fire support man that was part of 3rd Battalion 6th Marine Regiment's helicopter assault during the battle for Marjah, Afghanistan. Herr and Marines from multiple units conducted combat operations to clear Taliban and insurgent fighters from the town located in Helmand Province. We discuss the attack, his use of fire support assets during the battle, a failed javelin shot and what life was like in sustained combat.
