#49 Pourquoi il n’y a plus d’attaques de requins sur l’île de La Réunion ?

🏝️ Quand on parle de l’île de La Réunion à un Français, il pense immédiatement à ses plages, son lagon aux eaux turquoise, ses volcans millénaires, ou encore à ses randonnées célèbres dans le monde entier. Ce département français d'outre-mer, situé à plus de 10 000 kilomètres de Paris au cœur de l’océan Indien, semble bien éloigné de tout. Pourtant, il y a une dizaine d’années, ce coin de paradis s’est transformé en véritable enfer. Entre 2011 et 2019, onze personnes, principalement des surfeurs, ont été tuées par des requins. Cette série noire a créé une psychose parmi les habitants. Mais depuis cinq ans, plus aucune attaque de requin n’a été enregistrée. Alors, que s’est-il passé ?
